Pate sur Pate Cup & Saucer

This is a something one doesn't see often - a pate sur pate decorated cup and saucer made by Minton of England. Both pieces are decorated with pate-sur-pate designs of birds sitting in some greenery on a red ground with the rest of the cup and saucer having some superb gold trim that is partially raised on an off white ground color. A stunning set! IOne scen on each piece is signed with the initials of the artists. The saucer is 4.875 inches in diameter and 0.75 inches tall. The cup is 2.375 inches tall and 2.5 inches in diameter. Both are in perfect condition which is always a nice bonus.
