Easy Johnny Nodder

This is a figurine made by Minton around 1850. He is one of the rare high quality nodders in existence. The Meissen pagoda is the most well known but these are pretty close in quality. He is called Easy Johnny and he nods from left to right and back. He is handpainted with bright colors and great detail especially the gold scroll work on the base. He is 7.25 inches tall, 4 inches wide and 2.75 inches deep. In super condition! He doesn't nod that well but somebody told me he had his partner Coachee and he is exactly the same in terms of the nodding. I slid small pieces of rubber around the metal parts to protect everything. Otherwise he is perfect and a really fun figurine. He is unmarked which isn't unusual for English porcelain. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $1999
