Lady w/ Flower Pot

This is a really nice early figurine made by Minton around 1840. It is of a lady standing next to a couln with a flower pot on top. She is nicely dressed in a cobalt blue skirt with a pink top that is decorated with raised turquoise dots surrounded by tiny red dots. It looks stunning! The base has a couple of flowers and grass to the top. The column has a gold swag to the front. Amazingly the piece is in superb condition with just a small chip to a flower and a leaf on top of the base. The flowers in the flower pot are in perfect condition which is almost unbelievable! The figure is 7.25 inches tall, 2.375 inches wide and 2.625 inches deep. The figurine is unmarked which isn't unusual for English porcelain of this period. The underside base has a glue residue on the inside of the bottom of the hole. Not sure why it is there. Maybe it was attached to something but it does not affect anything visible. A very nice example of their early work! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
