Parian Dorothea Figurine

This is a parian ware figurine made by Minton in 1847 as far as I can tell from the English registry mark so from the original year when it was first modled which is a treat! It is a seated Dorothea on a rock with a travel satchel and shoes by her feet. The piece was created by the famous modeleur John Bell in 1847. The figurine is superbly modeled with lots of detail. A truly amazing figurine and I have her sister figurine Clorinda as well from its original year. The figurine is in great condition with on firing crack behind her right foot, one under her butt in the back and on by her left elbow in her back. A tiny meaningless chip on the bottom base likely starting from a small firing flaw by the look of things. A little dirt here and there which is normal on these pieces! She is 13.75 inches tall, 6.5 inches wide and 7.375 inches deep. The base is marked with the raised English registry mark as well as John Bell's mark on the side by her shoes. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
