Japanese Style Figurine

This is a very rare blanc de chine figurine made by Minton in the mid 19th century. The date code is very hard to see clearly so I am unsure which one it is! This piece called the Japanese Boat was modelled by John Henk as two Asian figures in a tree stem boat with the lady standing while operating the rudder and the gentleman sitting down and cooling himself with a fan. The one end of the boat has a hollow tree stem which off course can be used as a spill vase. A prunus tree growing from the lady's end finishes off this superb piece! The figurine is 13 inches long, 2 inches deep and 5.5 inches tall. It is marked underneath with the impressed Mintons mark, three dots and a hard to figure out other mark which is the date code most likely. The back of the boat has J. Henk impressed which is off course the modeller John Henk. An amazing piece that is in pretty good condition considering all the details. The end of the rudder is broken off, there is a meaningless chip to a rpunus blossom petal and the area where the prunus and pine trees meet has the ends of either tree missing. It displays superbly and is a fun piece to look at for sure! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
