Amazing Couple Candlestick Figurine

This is a superb figural candlestick made by Minton around 1840. It is of a couple dancing on a puce ground base with lots of gilding to it and scrolls along the edge. I cannot find this model so it is definitely a rare one. The piece is nicely modeled and amazing painted with more detail than one normally sees on pieces like this. Quite colorful and cheery to look at. The center of the base has a tree trunk coming out of it which is hollow and a metal candleholder was added to the top. I am not sure if this was meant to be used this way or as a lamp but it looks amazing and works perfectly. Amazingly the piece is in superb condition with just a tiny chip to the underside rim of her hat which can be seen in the pictures. Minimal and painted in to hide it almost perfectly. The figure is 8.5 inches tall to the top of the candle stick, 8 inches wide and 3.875 inches deep. The figurine is unmarked which isn't unusual for English porcelain of this period. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
