Cute Tie Pin

This is a cut and unusual piece made by Meissen in the 19th or early 20th century. A tie pin made of Silver with a small oval porcelain insert at the top. The little porcelain plaque is hand painted with two pink rose blossoms as well as some leaves. Cute looking peice and I have never come across another so definitely not something you'll see often. The porcelain piece is mounted in silver and attached to the pin. The porcelain piece is marked underneath with the blue swords mark as shown quite faint but it is there. The silver is impressed 800 or 900 (can't see the first digit) along the frame of the porcelain right under the pin so it's hard to see. The entire piece together is 2.5 inches long with the little oval being 0.5 inches long by 0.375 inches wide. It is in great condition with a little scratch to it that can only be seen when magnified as in the pictures. Looks perfect when in use and super elegant. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $199
