Snipe Bird Figurine

This is a figurine of a bird made by Meissen in the later 20th century. A really nice looking bird which I believe to be a snipe modeled standing on a tree stump with a branch sticking up with one part having leaves to the end. A very well modeled figurine that is hand painted superbly! Not a model one sees very often. The figure displays perfectly but the leaves have had some professional work done to them. Well done and not obvious at all. They look perfect! The piece is 8.5 inches tall, 4.5 inches deep and 7.75 inches long. The bird is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark as well as the usual impressed numbers and a painter's mark as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
