Small Floral Button #6

This is a sixth very rare small button made by Meissen in the 19th century. It is the type you could attach using the four holes in the back so it is tighter than the ones with just one loop. Not something you see often at all and I have six of them so if you'd like more than one here is a rare chance to complete your unique project for the Meissen crazy collector :) The front of the button is hand painted with a superb polychrome floral arrangement on white ground with a gold trim to the edge. The back has four oval holes to it which you can get the string through to attach it securely and tightly. A fairly flat button that is only about 0.125 inches thick with a diameter of just over 0.75 inches. The porcelain is marked underneath with the blue swords mark as shown - 1st quality with the area around it ground flat because of how it was fired which is normal. The button is in perfect condition just like the day it was made. It displays perfectly and looks super elegant plus I have rarely ever seen this style and if you are in need of a few this is probably your only chance to get them for a long time. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $179
