Floral Royal Houshold Plate #2

This is a nice porcelain plate made by Meissen in the 19th century. What makes this piece extra special is that is comes from the German royal household! The plate has the intricately reticulated rim from the Bruehlsches Allerlei service and is hand painted with a nice polychrome floral arrangement in the center as well as three single flowers. Gold trim to the edge of the well and edge of the rim. A nice looking plate and judging from the colors and style of the flowers it dates to the earlier part of the 19th century. This piece displays nicely but does ahve a rim hairline as shown - not bad at all. The gilding is worn a bit and there is some stacking wear to the flowers as shown. Not bad but needs to be mentioned. All in all a nice plate with some great provenance being from the Imperial Silver collection and marked as such. The plate is1.375 inches tall and 9.875 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords as well as some impressed and incised marks as shown plus the words K. Hof=Silberkammer for Koenigliche Hof Silberkammer in black letters. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
