Reticulated Hunting Scene Plate

This is a superb plate made by Meissen in the mid 18th century. It has a basket weave style reticulated rim design with some relief detail to the paste, a gold trim to the edge and a superb hunting scene in the center including a hunter on his horse blowing his horn a dog by his side and a stag deer in front all in a nice landscape surrounding with some great scroll work right under the scene which is quite typical for this period. A superb example! The plate is in superb condition with just some wear to the gold trim on the very edge which is to be expected. It displays perfectly! The dish is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark, a blue line near the foot ring, the usual impressed number one finds on Meissen of this period and an incised script F mark not sure what that is for but it is unusual. The plate is 1.25 inches tall and 9 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
