Girl w/Cow Figurine

This is a very nice figurine of a young lady / girl hugging a calf / young cow made by Meissen in the early 20th century. The figure was originally modeled by Max Bochmann in 1910 and this example here is from this original period which is extra nice! The piece is superbly modeled and hand painted in the Art Nouveau / Jugendstil style of the period. The girl is wearing a purple dress and a colorful bonnet type hat. There are flowers strewn across the base which fits this period perfectly. A stunning figurine! The piece is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark of the period as well as an incised model number Y191, impressed number 42 and painter's numbers 53 in black. The figurine is in great condition with jsut a very tiny chip to the bottom edge of the base as shown and a few tiny black firing spots from when she was made. The black fur painted on the back side near the girl has a spot that look smudged but this is from when she was made. The figurine is first choice! It is 4.5 inches tall, 5.75 inches long and 4.25 inches wide. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
