Cupid Delivering Love Letters Figurine

This is a really nice figurine made by Meissen in the late 19th century. It is of a cherub aka Cupid / Amor playing postal service. A nice size figurine that is superbly modeled with lots of details and hand painted to perfection. His wings in the back, a little bag in front with two letters sticking out and another letter in his hand. He is presumably delivering his love letters :) in Nice base with some gilt scrolls to it, a tree stump in the back and another letter on top. Pink cloth around his mid section. The figure is in great condition and displays perfectly but there is a small chip to one of the wing tips as shown. The underside base has the under glaze blue crossed swords mark to it as well as a painter's mark and the usual impressed and incised numbers as shown. The figure is 5.75 inches tall, 2.5 inches wide and 2.875 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
