Cobalt Blue, Gold & Floral Saucer #6

This is a superb saucer made by Meissen in the later 19th century. It is hand painted with three cartouches of superb polychrome floral arrangements on white ground with the rest of the plate being a deep cobalt blue. Some fancy gold trim on the rim and around the cartouches as well as in the center. The dish is in superb condition with just a very minor touch of wear to the gilding in one spot under one of the cartouches as shown. The saucer is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark underneath (first choice) as well as some impressed numbers and a letter E. The piece is 0.875 inches tall and just over 4.75 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $499
