Girl w/ Hat Figurine

This is a very nice figurine of a young lady holding a large sun hat by her side made by Meissen around 1900. The figure was modeled by Alfred König and is still so popular today that is was selected as the figurine of the year in 2015. The piece is superbly modeld and hand painted in the Art Nouveau / Jugendstil style of the period. She is wearing a sun dress with flowers all over it and a bow to the front. Another bow in her hair and on the hat as well. She is standing on a nice base with some greenery under the hat. A stunning figurine! The piece is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark of the period as well as an incised model number W125 and the usual impressed and painter's numbers. The figurine is in perfect condition and first choice! She is 8 inches tall with a base diameter of 2.75 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
