Miniature Female Turkey Figurine

This is a miniature female turkey (aka hen ) made by Meissen in the 19th century. Nicely modeled and hand painted as one would expect from the top maker! It is standing on a little base painted with some grass. The figurine is in perfect condition which is always nice. It is marked underneath with the underglazed blue crossed swords mark as well as the usual impressed marks as well as a painters mark in form of a black 8 as shown. The bird is 2 inches tall, 1 inch wide and 2.25 inches long. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
