Superb Floral Cup & Saucer

This is a really nice cup and saucer set made by one of the makers of the Paris region of France possibly Dagoty around 1800. The cup has a nice shape to it and is hand painted with a ring of very well painted flowers edged by a raised "pearl" like trim to the top and a gold trim to the bottom. The foot, handle and top outside rim are also fully gilded. What I ahve never seen is that the inside rim has a little gold scene all around with the rest fully gilded. That's super cute! The saucer has the same floral design and raised "pearl" trim with a nicely tooled gold trim to the edge. The raised ring around the well makes it almost like a trembleuse style saucer. An amazing set! Both pieces are in great condition with just a very minor touch of wear and a glaze hairline to the underside of the saucer as shown. Just the glaze no sign of it going through and it rings like a bell when tapped. Neither piece is marked which is common for Paris makers around that time. The cup is 3.625 inches tall including the handle and 3 inches in diameter at the top. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 5.375 inches in diameter.
