Jesus Figurine

This is a figurine of Jesus on a handmade wooden cross. The porcelain figure was made in France in the early to mid 19th century. This is one of the highest quality pieces I have seen besides the Nymphenburg one which is jsut spectacular! The detail of this figurine is very good with the nails and even the puncture marks on his side. The crown is actually sharp and pointy. Sadly it is not marked which makes it hard to Id but definitely much nicer than what you usually find! The porcelain piece is in good condition - needs a cleaning which I will do. It is 11,25 inches tall, 11 inches wide and about 1.75 inches deep. The back has a triangular hole and a roundish hole in it so he can be hung on a cross. The cross here seems to have been made by an amateur - it is nice but nothing spectacular. Might have been for another piece as the screw holes were moved over to center this piece here. Either way it looks nice with the figurine. The wooden cross is 14 inches wide, 17.75 inches tall and 1 inch deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
