Wood Grain Scenic Saucer

This is a superb saucer made by Frankenthal in about 1774. It is hand painted with a superb wood grain aka Faux Bois design with a black scene in the center meant to look like a poster attached to a wooden wall. Superb quality all around and a bit different from the usual designs :) The saucer is in perfect condition. The saucer is marked with the CT under a crown as well as 74 in blue as the year mark and some incised marks as shown. The piece is 1.25 inches tall and 5.625 inches in diameter.
