Blanc de Chine Couple Figurine

This is a figure of a lady and a gentleman made by Frankenthal in 1771. Superb modelling which is shown off because only the best pieces were left white. It is of a lady and a gentleman on a typical Frankenthal base. The lady is wearing a very nice dress and warming her right hand and foot by a fire. The gentleman is kneeling by her side touching her right shoulder with his left hand. He is holding one of the those wheat harvesting tools I believe in his right hand. The figurine is 5.375 inches tall, 6 inches wide and 3.25 inches deep. Marked with the CT monogram under the crown in underglaze blue with a 71 underneath. The piece is in great condition considering the age and fragile nature of these figures. His right leg was broken under the knee and restored with the usual useless overpaint in the area. The bowl with the fire in it has some damage which was restored at some point and lost again from the looks of it and the back base underneath her has some overpaint - I assume a piece of the rim was lost and restored. And a firing crack from the making in the rock base she sits on. None of these are major at all and the figurine is just superb! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
