Putto Plate #2

This is a superb plate made by Frankenthal in 1782. It is handpainted with a superb scene of a putto on a cloud in the center, some nice scattered flowers plus a blue and gold trim. The center putto was possibly painted by Andreas Philipp Oettner since it is in that style. The plate is marked with the CT mark under the crown in underglaze blue as well as incised mark 110 and F. There is a blue 82 on the footring which is the date mark. The plate is 9 inches in diameter and 1.25 inches tall. It is in great condition with some stacking wear and loss of the blue colored trim as well as a little gold wear. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
