Landscape Scene Plate

This is a great plate made by Frankenthal in 1780. It has a great handpainted large landscape scene in the center with gold scroll work udnerneath and lots of small scattered flowers throughout. Nice rim shape highlighted with gilding. These piece are rather hard to find made by Frankenthal so it was a must have for me :) Very elegant and of good quality. The plate is marked with the CT mark under the crown in underglaze blue as well as an incised F and 110 and a blue 80 on the footring. The plate is 1.5 inches tall and has a diameter of 9.5 inches. It is in great condition with some wear to the gilding on the rim and some damage to the footring which I never find of any significance. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
