Floral Teapot - No Lid

This is a teapot missing its lid (sadly) made by Frankenthal in about 1771. The tea pot is hand painted with two superb floral arrangements as well as lots of single small flowers to fill in the rest of the spaces. Nice gold trim to the top edge, spout edge and along the handle and some puce trim to the handle terminals and the area where the spout attaches to the main body. The pot is marked with the crown over CT mark in underglaze blue, an underglaze blue 71 as well as an incised H and the number 2. It is in superb condition with one tiny chip along the foot edge and tthe missing lid off course. The pot is 3.375 inches tall, 4.75 inches long and 2.875 inches deep.
