Floral Plate #3

This is a plate made by Chantilly in the 18th century. It is made of soft paste porcelain and handpainted with three nice floral arrangements in the center as well as one smaller one in the middle. (Very much reminiscent of Sevres plates of the period) The nicely shaped edge has a basket weave design to the paste and a greenish brownish yellow trim (the color changes betwen a dirty orange to a light brown between all these plates). The plate is in great condition with two small nicks to the edge one of which looks to be the result of a firing issue. Some of the usual use marks which are common to softpaste porcelain but don't take away from the piece at all! It is marked underneath with the puce hunting horn mark as well as the letter G and an incised T. It is 9.375 inches in diameter and 1.125 inches tall.
