Polychrome Floral Plate / Dish

This is a superb large dish or plate made by Chantilly around the mid 18th century. It is made of soft paste porcelain and hand painted with four nice floral arrangements - two in each style. The flwoers on the one set including the red and pink roses are reminescent of Meissen woodcut style flowers which they used for a short period around 1750, The flwoers are superb and outlines with a black line trim which is very typical for this maker. The rim has a nice shape to it with a brown trim to the edge. Not sure if this is considered a plate or a serving dish with the rim shape like this but either way it is superb and looks great in my cabinet. The piece is in great condition with some minor wear to thewhich is common on softpaste porcelain and does not affect the look when on display. It is marked underneath with the reddish hunting horn mark. The dish is 1.125 inches tall and has a diameter of 9.625 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
