Kakiemon Saucer

This is a superb saucer made by Chantilly around the mid 18th century. It is made of soft paste porcelain and painted with an amazing flower design in the Kakiemon style colors. Brown trim to the edge. The flowers are superb and after their Japanese Arita area originals as are the colors off course. The dish is in great condition with some use marks as is common on soft paste pieces but it displays perfectly. The saucer is not marked underneath but that is common. Typical green translucency! The piece is 1 inch tall with a diameter of 4.75 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
