Polychrome Cup & Saucer

This is a cup and saucer made by Chantilly around 1765. It is made of softpaste and painted with a nice floral arrangement as well as a small flower on both pieces and a fly on the saucer. Nice yellow trim to the rim. The set is in OK condition with the saucer having a chip to the rim and the cup has had the handle broken off and reattached quite well and a hairline visible on the inside but only visible on the top 1/4 inch of the outside which I found strange. The set displays very nicely still and is a rare example. Both are marked underneath with the blue hunting horn mark as well as the letter F on the saucer and E on the cup. Also an incised D on the saucer and some other character on the cup. The saucer is 4.75 inches in diameter and 1 inch tall. The cup is just over 2.5 inches tall and has a diameter of 2.625 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
