Floral Plate #2

This is a plate made by Chantilly in the 18th century. It is made of soft paste porcelain and painted with a nice floral arrangement in the center ( a bit softer in tones than the other plate I own) as well as three smaller flower and two bugs on the rim. The nicely shaped edge has a puce trim to it. The plate is in good condition with two small rim chips which seem to have originated from flaws in the paste. Neither is distracting and even a little color would hide them perfectly. The plate is marked underneath with a faint puece hunting horn mark as well as the script letter f. It is 9.5 inches in diameter and 1.375 inches tall. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $1499
