Putto Figurine

This is a figurine of a putto made by Bow around 1765. He is nicely modelled and quite beautifully painted especially the flowers. He is holding a basket of fruit in front of him which is a nice change from the usual flowers one sees at Derby or other makers. The putto has a garland of flowers around him and some flowers by his feet and on top of his head. The figurine is in good condition and siplays very well but there is a chip to his left hand that is not obvious, one leaf is chipped in the basket and two leaves are missing from his head. There is also a chip to the back of the base and he has a some black spots in the glaze from the making. Like I said he displays very well since most of the damage is in the back and the rest not obvious. He is unmarked underneath but that's the norm. The figurine is 4.5 inches tall, 1.875 inches wide and deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
