Small Polychrome Butterboat

This is a fun little dish made by Bow in the 18th century. More than likely a butterboat but could be a small personal sauce / gravy dish as well. The piece is hand painted with a polychrome floral arrangement to one side, a pansy mutli blossom flower to the other and a blue flower and leaf to the spout area. Bottom inside has another flower to it and there is a ncie red trim to the inside edge as well as the handle and foot. A really cute piece that is in good condition with just a small flat chip to one side of the foot as shown. Displays nicely on that side or perfectly when turned the other way ;) The dish is unmarked which is normal. It is 1.875 inches tall, 4.25 inches long and 2.125 inches wide. Price is $299
