Blue & White Leaf Dish

This is a hard to find leaf shaped dish made by Bow around 1765. It is hand painted with under glaze blue as a large leaf with the veins growing in the center as well as some smaller leaves painted near the stem end. This is the harder to find version with the pointy edge all around and the short stem. It is a really nicely done piece and very typical of Bow porcelain. The piece is in great condition with lots of glaze chips along the very edge and two smaller chipes. Much of that was painted over in blue to hide it better and it really displays superbly! No hairlines or large chips so it is in really good shaoe for this sort of piece. The plate is marked underneath with some pseudo Chinese chop marks as shown and has a respected Atlanta dealer sticker on it as well who sadly passed away a few years ago. The piece is 1.5 inches tall, 7.75 inches long and 7 inches wide. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $699
