Large Putto Figurine

This is a nice figurine of a putto standing on a base made by Bow around the mid 18th century. He is nicely modeled with a basket in his hands full of flowers as well as a floral garland over his shoulder and around his head. The base stands on three feet with some more flwoers around the top. Beautifully painted in their typical colors. The figurine is in superb condition better than most one sees. Only small issue is three chipped petals on flowers in the basket, two chipped flowers on his head, one on the garland and some chipping to the flowers around the base and the tips of the fingers of his left hand are chipped but nothing that distracts from the piece at all. He displays very well. He is unmarked underneath but that's the norm - there is however an old museum ID underneath as shown. The figurine is 5.75 inches tall, 3.25 inches wide and 2.875 inches deep.
