Blanc de Chine Cup

This is a cup made by Bow around 1755. It is simple yet very elegant being decorated with the famous prunus blossom design in relief on the outside of the cup. Nice handle which is a typical shape for Bow. These pieces are hard to find in decent shape if at all these days. This cup is in great condition with a 1mm chip on the inside rim and a short stained line on the rim about 5mm in length. I really don't think it is a hairline as the glaze looks totally OK but am not sure how the stain got there. There is also one flower that is missing a petal but it seems to be from the making as there is glaze underneath it. Also a spot near the bottom outside of the cup that has no glaze original to the making. The piece is unmarked underneath but that's the norm. It is 2.25 inches tall and 2.25 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
