Superb Bird w/ Bocage Figurine

This is a really nice figurine of colorful pheasant type bird perched in a tree made by Bow around the mid 18th century. He is hiding in the center of the tree with the bocage all around him on a nice base with puce highlighted scrolls. The figure is nicely modeled and hand painted. The flowers and bird are especially nice! The piece is in superb condition with a few minor chips and an odd looking area to the back in one area of the bocage - it seems like a factory repair to me rather than a restoration. From the front that is invisible. A firing crack to the edge of the base but all in all as nice as you can find! The piece is unmarked underneath but that's the norm. The figurine is 8.5 inches tall, 5.75 inches wide and 4.5 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
