Wedgwood Dog Handle Tray

This is an interesting serving dish / tray made by Wedgwood in the 19th century. Made of some sort or pottery / ceramic in a trefoil or clover shape and a superb handle in the form of a dog in some greenery. I cannot find another example so it's not likely to be a common piece at all. The edge of the tray has brown trim to it. The piece is in good condition with some fine crazing throughout that has stained in some areas as shown. A small rough spot to the nose and eyebrow of the dog where the glaze is missing a tiny bit. The entire dish is 3.125 inches tall, 10.75 inches wide and 10.5 inches deep. It is marked underneath with the impressed WEDGWOOD mark, an impressed letter C their impressed three letter date code which I cannot make out as well as M over 2007 and a B in blue as shown. Maybe someone out there has more information on this piece! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $149
