Wallendorf Red Rose Small Pot

This is a cute little coffee pot made by Wallendorf in the 18th century. The main body has a flower scene to either side with the main flower being a red rose with some small orange and yellow flowers and greenery filling n the rest. The lid has the same decoration. A bit of puce trim to the handle and finial and the typical ribbed design to the paste typical of Thuringia area makers! Both pieces are in great condition with just a minor chip to the udnerside edge of the lid as show. The piece displays perfectly! The pot with its lid in place is 6.75 inches tall, 4.75 inches from handle to spout and 3.5 inches in diameter. The pot is marked with the under glaze blue W mark as shown on the udnerside.
