Wallendorf Musician Figurine

This is a rare figurine made by Wallendorf around 1775. It is of a musician playing the bass guitar which is nicely modled and hand painted nicely as well. He is wearing a long coat with short pants and is standing on a base with scroll moldings highlighted in puce. Wallendorf figurines are hard to find and I was happy that this one found me. The figure is in great condition with the bow being broken and missing the center piece and the tip of the instrument broken off as well. Nothing a good restorer couldn't handle and he displays fine as is. The figurine is 4.5 inches tall, 2.25 inches wide and 1.75 inches deep. He is not marked but that is normal for their figurines. Please email me for more information or photos.
