Volkstedt Floral Cup& Saucer #2

This is a cup and saucer made by Volkstedt around 1770. Both pieces are handpainted with a great floral arrangement including a fancy tulip and there are smome small scattered flowers and leaves along the rim which has the relief line pattern to it so typical of this region. Gold trim to the edge and puce trim to the handle. A flower bud on the inside bottom of the cup. The set is in great condition with the gold trim worn and the bottom of the handle having a hairline - this is a weak point on their cups and they almost always have this issue! Both pieces are marked underneath with the crossed hayforks with a line across the center in blue with the saucer having some sort of impressed circular mark. The cup is 1.875 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1.25 inches tall and 5.5 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or photos.

Price is $599
