Polychrome Floral Pot de Creme #4

This is a nice pot de creme or pot au jus made by Royal Vienna in the 18th century before (but not much) 1783. The little lidded cup would have been used either for hot chocolate or a meat broth . Both the main cup and lid have a nice relief design to the paste and are hand painted with some nice flowers - two large arrangements to the cup as well as a single smaller flower and two smaller flowers to the lid. Nice floral finial to the lid with its stem and two leaves. The set is in OK condition with two petals of the finial having chipped off and the stem of the finial is missing as well. The main cup has a hairline across the bottom terminal of the handle likely because it had separated a bit from the body during the firing process and created a fining crack at that point and two long hairlines to the cup going from the top edge into the cup with one going sideways after that as shown. The set still displays nicely and is quite cute. The cup with the lid in place is 2.75 inches tall and 2.25 inches in diameter. The underside of the cup is marked with the under glaze blue beehive / shield mark as well as a red 27 as the painter's mark , an impressed i and an incised line near the painter's mark.
