Floral Knife Handle

This is a rare knife handle made by Royal Viennaa in the 18th century. The handle is made of porcelain and has a relief design to it highlighted in puce plus two hand painted flowers to the top and two more on the bottom. A really nice looking handle! It comes with a blade and ferrule that are probably Silver though the markings are a bit off - looks like the blade is makred four times with the same mark. So I am not 100% on it being silver. Have a look for yourself! A great looking combo though with that superb porcelain handle and the silver blade! The porcelain and silver are in superb condition with a minor touch of wear to the porcelain. It displays perfectly! Not sure if the blade is contemporary to the porcelain or a later replacement but given the condition I assume it is a later replacement! The entire knife and handle are 9 inches long with the porcelain handle being 3.125 inches long, 0.75 inches wide and tall. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
