Lidded Tankard

This is a really nice lidded tankard / mug / stein for your beer next weekend :) A superb piece with its original lid made by Royal Vienna in the 1805. The cup is hand painted with four floral arrangement but my favorite part is the superb blue scale trim with the fancy gilding around the top part. Intertwined branch handle with gilding to it. The lid has a nce floral finial, a few tiny flowers and the same nice trim. The tankard is in great condition with some wear to the gilding - mainly to the handle and the finial has some damage to it with the main flower having been reglued and some tiny other flowers now missing. The piece is shorter and wider than the other tankards I have come across over the years which makes it quite nice. It is 7.25 inches tall and 4.25 inches in diameter with the handle sticking out another 1.5 inches. It is marked on the underside with the under glaze blue shield mark as well as an impressed year mark 805 and another number I cannot quite make out. Could be a 26 or a 95.
