Unknown Biscuit Porcelain Hunter Figurine

This is a really nice biscuit porcelain figurine made by an unknown maker in the 18th century. I would say I am fairly certain it is French though it could also be German. The quality of the modelling is superb and the base is very different from any others I ahve come across with all that detail to it. That must eventually help ID the maker. If anyone has an idea a quick note would be appreciated! Either way the piece is stunning. The figure is of a hunter holding his rifle while wearing a nice outfit and hat. He is supported by a tree stump in the back. The piece is in great condition but the rifle was once broken through near where the skinny part attaches to the butt and it took most of the fingers on the left hand with it. The tip of the rifle is chipped as well. None of this is very obvious and the piece displays quite nicely. The underside of the base is unmarked or at least nothing I can make out of all those scratches under there. The figurine is 4.5 inches tall, 2 inches wide and 1.875 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
