Unknown Puce Floral Reticulated Plate

This is a good mystery piece. A relaly nice plate with a superb reticulated rim and a large as well as two small floral design hand painted in pouce in the well of the plate. I am pretty certain is was made in Germany in the 19th century. I ahve never seen this style reticulated rim with the heart cut outs and the underside has three ground away stilt marks to it which is also not something one sees often at all especially during this time period. The flowers are well done and could be by one of the smaller factories but not sure. The footring is rounded and smooth not ground down. The plate is marked with an under glaze blue crossed swords type mark as well as the letter N under it and an 11 by the foot ring. Only way this could be Meissen if this was a blue painted plate but since it is not these marks are by someone else. A real mystery. Nice plate for sure. The plate is 1.25 inches tall and 8.5 inches in diameter. It displays nicely but does have a small rim chip with a short hairline from it and another short hairline as well. Small spot of stacking wear to the white area. None are visible when on display. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $149
