Tettau Polychrome Creamer

This is a cute creamer made by Tettau in the late 18th century. This is one of the nicest pieces I have owned by them as most one sees is just monochrome puce colored and quite simply painted. This piece here is of very good quality and has the typical ribbed design to the paste with two nicely handpainted floral arrangements as well as a small flowerand some puce trim. Amazingly this pot is in perfect condition - it could have had a lid though there is no indication on the top rim that it did. It is marked underneath with the script T in puce as shown. The pot is 3.5 inches tall and 2.75 inches in diameter. Please e-mail me for more information or photos.

Price is $199
