Imperial Easter Egg

This is a rare large imperial Easter egg made in Russia in the early 20th century or a bit earlier. I am sure it is not one of those lousy copies floating around but I do not know if this is an imperial piece or by one of the other factories. Maybe someone has a better idea and can let me know! It is however a stunning and rather large egg - handpainted with a pink ground color with a floral arrangement on two sides with a gold star around the top and bottom hole. The flowers are of very good quality! The egg is about 4.5 inches tall and about 3.375 inches in diameter. It is not marked but these were never marked.
