Original Period Puskin Poem Figurine

This is a rare original period figurine of a young lady originally modeled by Natalya Danko in 1923 and made during this original period by the State Porcelain Factory Petrograd ( Used to be St. Petersburg Imperial factory ) in Soviet Russia. The pieces from this suprematism / avant-guarde period are very rare! Her name is Maria - the Polish princess that is a character from the poem " The Bakhchisarai Fountain " written by Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin. He wrote the Fountain of Bakhchisaray between 1821 and 1823 after visiting The Fountain of Tears at the Khan Palace in Bakhchysarai in 1820. She is sitting on a base covered with colorful flowers, has a blue shawl over her head and down her back is wearing a white dress while holding a necklace with a cross on it. The piece is superbly hand painted and very rare. I could only find one other example but a later version from 1940 which off course did not look anywhere as nice! A really amazing little figurine! The figure is in perfect condition! Unmarked underneath probably because there is very ltitle room and it's an early version but definitely made by them during the original period. The piece is just over 2.5 inches tall, 2.125 inches wide and 1.75 inches deep. If you collect these pieces this one here is a must have! Two more characters exist from this poem that were made by this factory. A rare chance to get an original period piece! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
