Figural Perfume Bottle

This is a very rare treat - a figural perfume bottle in the shape of a lady with a sheep. I think it was made by Charles Gouyn's factory at St. James while my friend thinks it was made by Chelsea. Since he knows more about English porcelain I listed it under the Chelsea category of my site but in the end it matters very little since either way it is a rare and superb piece :) Made of softpaste and modeled as a tiny shepherdess with her sheep leaning against a flowering rose bush. Lots of amazing detail with even a small rose and a ring of leaves on the underside! The stopper is gold mounted which was reserved for only the best. The piece is not marked which is normal. It is about 3.25 inches tall and in superb condition with the small gold chain missing that would hold the stopper on the main body and an amazingly little amount of chipping to the leaves. The stopper has two chipped leaves and the main body has 4 but 3 of these are on the one flower behind her and all are in the back. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
