Prattware Figurine

This is an interesting Prattware figurine made in the Staffordshire region in the late 18th century. The figurine is of a gentleman that seems to be cold since he is putting his hands in his coat. Might represent winter. He is well done for this sort of ware - it is more primitive than porcelain usually is but has a certain charm to it that is quite nice! The colors are superb. He displays nicely but has some issues - the right leg has an indent to it going down the side but that is from the making. His head has a weird greenish color to the skin so I am assuming it has been worked on but I cannot tell. On porcelain it is usually easy to figure out but here I am lost. The hat looks to have had some repainting done to it to hide glaze chips but again I am not sure. Either way an attractive piece with some real age to it. Unmarked as is the norm. The figure is about 6.5 inches tall with the base being about 2.625 inches on each side. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
