Large Castle Scene Plaque

This is a really nice oval scenic plaque made in England probably in the Staffordshire region in the early 19th century. The piece has that amazing cobalt blue trim around the edge with some really nice raised gilding with lots of detail to it including flowers as shown. It makes the superb central design really pop! The center is hand painted with a castle scene including the castle by a lake or river with soe boats in the front and some sailing in the background with some greenery to one side and mountains in the background. A stunning piece! The plaque displays perfectly but it does have three hairlines coming from the edge into the plaque. Two are in the blue area but one is longer going into the left side of the scene a bit. This sort of thing happens over time on pieces like this sometimes and they are stable. The plaque is unmarked which is the norm around this period of English porcelain. It is 0.375 inches thick, 11.5 inches wide and 8.625 inches tall.
