Round Fruit Scene Plaque

This is a nice round still life plaque made in the Staffordshire region of England in the early 19th century. The piece has a groove / hole in the back through the top so one can hang it on the wall easily. The plaque is fully glazed and has a hand painted scene to the front that is really nice. The scene includes a column with a vase/ urn in the center surrounding by lots of fruit and berries in a landscape surrounding. The gold frame is part of the porcelain plaque and not separate. Just made to look like a ice frame. It looks amazing on the wall! The plaque is in superb condition with a very minor touch of wear to the gilding along the very edge. two gilded over and three painted over glaze bubbles from when it was made. There is a chip in the back where the wire would attach to hang it but not big enough to be an issue if you hang it on the wall. It displays perfectly! The plaque is unmarked which is the norm around this period of English porcelain. It is 0.75 inches thick and has a diameter of 6.875 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
